AMAZING MRS. BOUTIER AT - 13 UNDER PAR
Ljublajan, 27th July 2012 - Before the championship there has been much speculation about the final scores in Smlednik. But one thing is certain. Even though everybody knew, Diners Golf & Country Club would be hosting some of the best golfers in the world, there are a very few people, who believed we will witness such great performances.
- 13 after three days, total of Celine Boutier is a solid proof of that! This means, the french golfer has advantage of 5 strokes for the deciding day. When we asked Mrs. Boutier what was her recipe for success, the answer was short:
“I made a lot of birdies. I used my wedges and irons well and managed to hit the ball near the pins.”
She also mentioned she enjoys playing with so many excellent players at such high level. The leading golfer said that she is not preparing nothing revolutionary for the big final:
“I will use the same tactics as in the previous days and play my usual game.”
The words which are a guarantee for a great sporting climax on Saturday. The cut for the final was at + 6 strokes, what means we will see 65 golfers playing tomorrow.

“HOLE IN ONE” AND ANOTHER DAY OF GREAT GOLF IN SMLEDNIK
Ljubljana, 26th July 2012 - Today, we saw a little bit higher scores than yesterday on average. But insiders gave us the answer to that dilemma. Head Green keeper, Vanja Drasler – for those who don't know – she was part of the team, which took care for the greens at US Open on the Olympic Course, with the help of her crew prepared even quicker greens. On top of that, the flags were put to more challenging positions. But nevertheless, day two provided some true masterpieces. At the end, the happiest to leave the final green was golfer from France, Celine Boutier, who heads the field with total of 134 strokes. Almost the same amount of greetings went to Leurquin Chloe from Belgium, who got hole in one on the 10th hole. Congratulations ladies!

EXCELLENT RESULTS IN THE OPENING ROUND OF THE EUROPEAN LADIES CHAMPIONSHIP
Ljubljana, 25th July - The first day of the European ladies amateur championship provided some great golf! On the excellent greens of Diners Golf & Country Club Ljubljana we saw some very competitive rounds. The lowest score after 18 holes has been achieved by three ladies - Katerina Ruzickova from Czech Republic, Andrea Vilarasau Amoros from Spain and Johanna Bjoerk from Sweden. They finished their opening round with 5 strokes under par (71). Because of the challenging conditions and many excellent players in the field we expect even more golfing drama tomorrow. The 2nd round starts at 8.00am.

OPENING CEREMONY AT THE GOLF CLUB - FOTO
Ljubljana, 26th July 2012 - Yesterday, everything was prepared for the opening ceremony, of the championship, to take place outside. But an unexpected rain shower had everybody running for the club house. Despite this sudden change of plans, the ceremony continued normally and the competitors are now eagerly awaiting the start of the tournament today.
